1. Who we are

virsawood.com (the "Website") is owned and operated by Virsa Wood ("Virsa Wood", "we", "us"), a Pakistani maker of handcrafted solid wood furniture, home décor and custom interiors with over 50 years of woodworking heritage. These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between Virsa Wood and every person who browses, uses or buys from the Website ("you"). Please read them carefully — by using the Website you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our products, services or the law. The current version is always published on this page with its "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Website after a change means you accept the revised Terms, so please check back periodically.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract under the laws of Pakistan to place an order. If you are ordering on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorised to do so. We may refuse or withdraw access to the Website or our services at any time where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.

4. Products, craftsmanship and natural variation

Every Virsa Wood piece is made by hand from solid wood. Because wood is a natural material, no two pieces are identical:

• Grain pattern, knots, mineral streaks and subtle colour differences are natural characteristics, not defects.
• Stains and finishes may look slightly different on your screen than in your home, depending on lighting and display settings.
• Dimensions are accurate to within small hand-finishing tolerances; please confirm measurements with us before ordering for tight spaces.

We photograph our products as faithfully as possible, but we cannot guarantee exact colour or grain matching between the images on the Website and the piece you receive.

5. Pricing and availability

All prices are shown in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges, where applicable, are shown separately before you confirm your order. We do our best to keep prices and stock accurate, but errors can occur; if we discover a pricing or availability error after you order, we will contact you to confirm, correct or cancel the order with a full refund of any amount paid. Prices may change without notice, but the price confirmed at checkout is the price you pay.

6. Orders, payment and confirmation

Placing an order on the Website is an offer to buy. Your order is accepted only when we confirm it by phone, WhatsApp or email.

• Cash on Delivery (COD) is currently offered on eligible orders across Pakistan; payment is made in full to our delivery team when your furniture arrives.
• For made-to-order and custom pieces we may request an advance before production begins; the balance is payable on delivery.
• You agree to provide accurate, complete and current contact and delivery details. We may cancel orders where details cannot be verified or where we suspect fraud.
• Each confirmed order receives an order number (e.g. ORD-2026-123456) that you can use on our Track Order page.

7. Custom and made-to-order furniture

Custom pieces — including bespoke sizes, finishes, kitchens, doors and commercial fit-outs — are built specifically for you. Once production has started, custom orders cannot be cancelled, changed or returned except where the item is faulty or materially different from what was agreed in writing. We will always share the agreed specification with you before work begins.

8. Delivery, inspection and returns

Delivery timelines, charges, assembly and our damage policy are set out in full in our Shipping & Delivery policy, which forms part of these Terms. Please inspect your furniture on delivery and report any damage, defect or missing part to our team before signing for it, or within 48 hours with photographs. Because our pieces are handmade to order, we do not accept change-of-mind returns once an item has been delivered; faulty or damaged items will be repaired, replaced or refunded as described in our Shipping & Delivery policy.

9. Your account and security

If you create an account or save details on the Website, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately at [email protected] if you believe your account has been used without permission. Do not use another person's account or provide false information.

10. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and not to:

• copy, scrape, crawl or reproduce product images, descriptions, catalogues or any part of the Website by automated means or for commercial use;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, its servers or any connected network, or interfere with its security or operation;
• upload viruses, malicious code or any content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene or infringes another person's rights;
• impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with Virsa Wood;
• use the Website in any way that breaches the laws of Pakistan or the jurisdiction you are in.

We may suspend or terminate your access without notice if we reasonably believe you have breached this section.

11. Intellectual property

The Virsa Wood name, logo, product designs, photography, text, graphics, code and the overall look and feel of the Website are owned by or licensed to Virsa Wood and protected by copyright, trademark and design laws. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use only. Any other copying, republishing, distribution or creation of derivative works requires our prior written permission.

12. Reviews, feedback and user content

We welcome reviews and feedback. By submitting content to us (including photos of your furniture), you grant Virsa Wood a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and display it in connection with our business, and you confirm it is your own and does not infringe anyone else's rights. Feedback is treated as non-confidential.

13. Third-party links and content

The Website may link to social media and other third-party sites. We are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices, and a link does not imply endorsement.

14. Warranties and limitation of liability

We stand behind our craftsmanship and will honour the warranty and damage commitments set out in our Shipping & Delivery policy. Beyond those commitments, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Website and its content are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, and Virsa Wood is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss (including loss of profits, data or use) arising from your use of the Website or purchase of our products. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Virsa Wood, its owners, employees and partners from any claim, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Website.

16. Communications

By ordering or contacting us you agree that we may contact you by phone, WhatsApp, SMS or email about your order. If you subscribe to updates, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails or by messaging us.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms and any order placed through the Website are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. We would always rather resolve a concern directly, so please contact us first; any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan.

18. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may assign ours to a successor of our business. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Shipping & Delivery policy, are the entire agreement between you and Virsa Wood regarding the Website.
